Effective date: October 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to the app Visdap: Visual Day Planner (formerly named Time for Life) on every platform where it is distributed, and explains how it handles your information. It covers:
com.timeforlife.app;com.timeforlife.app.watchface;9PL7ZJ6HBW9S);com.timeforlife.app), including its widgets;Sections 1, 2 and 7–15 apply to all platforms. Sections 3–6 describe what is specific to each platform.
The app is developed and published on Google Play, the Microsoft Store and the Apple App Store by Woder — the developer name of Oleksandr Miletskyi, an individual developer ("we", "us"). Woder is the data controller for the purposes of this policy. Contact details are in section 15.
Depending on the features you use, the app saves the following in its own storage on your device:
This information is not transmitted to us or to any third party. Where exactly it is stored on each platform is described below.
Storage. The data listed in section 2 is kept in the app's private storage on your phone (app preferences and files), which other apps cannot read.
Calendar (optional, read only). If you turn on calendar sync in the planner, the app reads events from the calendars on your device, including Google Calendar accounts added to the phone (title, description, start and end time, color), to show them on your 24-hour dial and in your day plan. Events are read on your device through Android's calendar provider, kept in memory while the app is running, and are not saved to the app's files or sent anywhere. The app cannot create, change or delete calendar events. You can turn sync off in the app or revoke the permission in system settings at any time.
Usage access (optional). If you allow usage access, the app checks which app is currently in the foreground for one purpose only: to hide the floating clock while you are on your home screen where the Visdap widget is already placed. Before the system screen opens, the app shows an explanation and asks for your consent. Only the name of the foreground app is read; it is kept in memory, is not saved and is not sent anywhere. Without this access everything else works as usual. You can revoke it at any time in system settings.
List of home-screen apps. The app asks the system which installed apps are home screens (launchers). This is used only for the auto-hide feature described above.
Display over other apps (optional). Used to show the floating 24-hour clock above other apps after you turn it on. The clock does not read the content of other apps or your touches in them.
Foreground service. While the floating clock or the home-screen clock widget is in use, a service with a permanent notification keeps the clock hands moving. It does not collect data.
Notifications, exact alarms, full-screen alerts, vibration. Used to remind you about your tasks at the time you chose.
Start after reboot. Used to restore your reminders and the floating clock after the phone restarts.
Internet and network state. Used only by Google Play services: Google Play Billing (to show prices and process subscriptions) and the Google Play In-App Review window (to let you rate the app). The app itself makes no other network requests.
Storage. The watch app keeps the data it receives from your phone, and your watch settings, in its private storage on the watch. When your phone is temporarily unreachable, the actions you take on the watch are kept there in a local queue of commands (up to 100 commands, each kept for no longer than 7 days) and are delivered to your phone as soon as it is reachable again.
Synchronization with your phone. If you use a Wear OS watch with Visdap, the phone app sends data to your own watch through the Wear OS Data Layer, a connection between your paired devices provided by Google Play services. The data sent is:
The watch sends back the commands you give on it: add a task, mark a task done, snooze or move a task, check or uncheck a checklist item, apply a day template, change a phone app setting, and start, pause, resume, skip or stop a Pomodoro session. The watch's tiles and complications show this same data (for example your next task, day progress, days left and the Pomodoro timer) on your watch and watch face. This exchange happens only between your own paired devices; none of this data is sent to our servers or to anyone else, and we do not receive any of it.
Voice and keyboard input. When you add a task on the watch, the title is entered through the system input of Wear OS (voice or keyboard). Speech recognition is performed by the system, not by Visdap: the app has no microphone permission, never receives audio and gets only the resulting text.
Watch app permissions. The watch app requests vibration and start-after-reboot permissions; the notifications permission, which is requested only the first time you start a Pomodoro session and is used only to show the notification of the current session (the Pomodoro timer works without it); and the Wear OS permissions to install its own 24h watch face on your watch and set it as active when you ask for it (Watch Face Push). It has no internet permission. To buy Pro, the watch can open the Visdap subscription screen on your phone.
Watch face. The 24h watch face contains no code, requests no permissions and collects nothing.
Storage. On Windows the app keeps your data in the folder %APPDATA%\TimeForLife of your Windows user account. For the version installed from the Microsoft Store, Windows keeps this folder in the app's own private package storage. The folder contains:
clock_config.json — your tasks, projects, day plans, life counter data and settings, plus automatic safety copies of this file (a .bak file and the backups subfolder) that protect your data if the PC shuts down unexpectedly;pomodoro.json — focus (Pomodoro) sessions and the time worked on projects;license.json — your Pro status;review.json — the service record used to time the rating window;sounds — copies of audio files you chose as your own reminder sounds;startup.log and crash.log — local technical logs (messages about loading the settings file and details of unexpected errors). They stay on your PC and are never sent anywhere.Backup copies in your Documents folder. So that your data survives reinstalling the app, the app automatically saves a copy of clock_config.json, pomodoro.json and your own sounds as ZIP files in Documents\Visdap (every few hours and when you exit; the latest copy plus up to 7 daily copies). Versions up to 1.1.4 saved these copies in Documents\Time for Life; later versions still find copies there and never change or delete them. You can also save, restore or open these copies in the app's settings. If your Documents folder is synchronized with OneDrive, Windows uploads these copies to your OneDrive; that synchronization is controlled by you and Microsoft, not by us.
Network. The Windows app makes no network requests of its own. It uses only the Microsoft Store services built into Windows (Windows.Services.Store) to check whether your Visdap Pro subscription is active, to show its price in your currency, to open the Microsoft Store purchase window and, occasionally, to show the Microsoft Store rating window. Links in the app (Terms of Use, this policy, subscription management in your Microsoft account, the app's pages in other stores) open in your web browser or in the Microsoft Store app.
Other features. Reminders are shown by the app itself and in the Windows notification area. The optional “Run at Windows startup” setting registers the app to start when you sign in; you can turn it off in the app or in Windows Settings › Apps › Startup. The quick-capture keyboard shortcut is registered with Windows only to open the quick task window; the app does not record or read other keystrokes. The Windows app does not access your calendars, location, camera, microphone or contacts.
Storage. On iPhone and Mac the app keeps your data (tasks, projects, settings, Pro status) in a file inside the app's own sandboxed container, shared only with the app's own widgets through an App Group on the same device. The data is not synchronized between your devices and is not sent to us or to iCloud by the app.
Calendar (optional, read only). If you turn on “Calendar events”, the app asks for access to your calendars and reads event titles, times and colors on your device to show them in the planner and on the clock face. Events are not saved to the app's files, not changed and not sent anywhere. You can turn this off in the app or in Settings / System Settings › Privacy at any time.
Notifications and alarms. Used to remind you about your tasks at the time you chose. On iPhone with iOS 26 or later, tasks marked as loud reminders can use the system alarm (AlarmKit) after you allow it.
Rating. The app may occasionally show Apple's system rating window. Apple handles your rating; the app does not receive it.
Mac only. The optional launch-at-login setting, the floating clock and the global shortcut for quick task entry work locally and read no content of other apps and no other keystrokes. Backup export and import use only the files you choose in the system file dialog. Links to the app's pages in other stores open in your browser.
No tracking. The iPhone and Mac apps contain no advertising, analytics or tracking code and do not collect data as defined by Apple's App Privacy requirements.
Visdap Pro is an auto-renewable subscription. Payment is always processed by the store you bought it from; we do not receive or store your card details or your store account information. The app stores only whether a subscription is active and the product identifier, on your device.
We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with anyone. We do not use advertising, analytics or crash-reporting providers. The only third parties involved are the platform providers whose system services the app uses:
Your data is stored only on your devices: in the app's private storage, which Android, Wear OS, iOS and macOS isolate from other apps, and on Windows in the application data folder of your Windows user account, which other users of the PC cannot open by default. The app has no servers and does not transmit your data over the internet, so there is no server-side copy that could be exposed. Data synchronized with your own watch travels over the encrypted Wear OS Data Layer connection between your paired devices. Payments are processed entirely by Google Play, the Microsoft Store or Apple over their secure connections.
Documents\Visdap folder (versions up to 1.1.4: Documents\Time for Life) as described in section 5; if Documents is synchronized with OneDrive, the copies are stored in your OneDrive as well. These backups are controlled by you and by the platform provider, not by us.
Your data stays on your devices until you delete it. You can delete it at any time:
%APPDATA%\TimeForLife during uninstallation; if this folder still exists on your PC, you can delete it yourself. The backup copies in Documents\Visdap (and, from versions up to 1.1.4, Documents\Time for Life) are your own files and are not removed automatically — delete these folders (and, if you use OneDrive, their copies there) to remove them.Because we do not hold any of your data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in the European Union or under US state privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data and to object to its processing. Because all of your data is stored only on your own devices, you can exercise these rights directly: view and edit your data in the app, export it (backup copies on Windows and Mac) or delete it as described in section 11. If you have a question or request about your data, contact us (section 15). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Visdap is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not send personal information from anyone, including children, to us.
If this policy changes, we will publish the new version on this page and update the effective date above.
If you have questions about this policy or your data, contact Woder (Oleksandr Miletskyi):
